The Main Humakt temple is located at the Wyrm River bridge. Originally the temple had been located in Mountain Home. But when Karengorn tasked the Humakti's to maintain the bridge, the temple relocated to it's present location.
Key Personnel:
High Priest - Lady Lorinda Galenson
Warlord - Lord Roubert Divarian
Narthyian & Kayla- CA initiates - escorted to temple by Dorrock.
Lorinda Galenson - 5' 10'' tall, brown eyes and hair. Very beautiful. Her slender figure is truly misleading of her strength and combat ability. She doesn't use bully tactics to command. An undeneiable aire of authority surrounds her. So when she explains the rules and expects them to be obeyed, they usually are.
She was elevated to Sword very quickly. Actually she was the youngest Sword ever to be seated as either Warlord or High Priest. Having proved her ability to lead and manage during the Stormbull rebellion of 252. A very strict disciplinarian. Only formal attire and attitudes are allowed in the Hall of Honor and the Temple worship areas.
The Humakt Cult has thrived under her control for the last few years. She has been known to have 'spent time' in the company of a Sword, one older initiate, and for a while, a Merchant from Kargarden. She doesn't try and hide her affairs from the population. But she is usually discrete, and expects the same discretion and courtesy from her underlings. A few rebuked suitors were rumored to have been told that "the proper overseeing of Humakt's children leaves little time for concerns of the heart".
Roubert Divarian - 6' 3" tall, gray eyes, brown (now gray) hair. 50 years old. In remarkable condition for a warrior with as much experience as he has had. Has served as the Warlord or High Priest of this temple for almost 23 years.
Occasionally a Sword will jest that he has spent to much time behind a desk. Or he will overhear an initiate refer to him as the old man. The offender is usually called onto the ground, and then soundly thrashed with a practice sword. On the rare occasions when he will work out in the practice yard, the event usually draws a lot of interested on lookers.
Recently when Roubert and Lorinda squared off in a practice challenge the demonstration had to be moved out to the highway so everyone could find room to watch.

Miscellaneous Matters
The Wyrm River Temple provides guards for the Dwarves Trade days at Trade rock. This event is held every other Windsday. In exchange for this service the dwarves provide each new Sword with iron breastplate, sword, and helm.
The Challana Arroy maintain a shrine in the Humakt temple. Two initiates are always in attendance. They rotate through this position on a yearly basis. Some of the most sought after duty as an initiate of Humakt is escorting the Challana Arroy initiates back to Kargarden and then returning with the new initiates. This duty is usually used as a reward for exceptional behavior. In return for their running the infirmary at the temple the Humakt temple has pledged to an open IOU of debt to the Challana Arroy temple.
There are Humakt temples in Kargarden and Mountain Home. Shrines are located in Smelzbad, Chotar's Pond and Freetown. The honor of control of one of the smaller temples is usually awarded to the two runners up in the competition for high priest. The shrines are manned by volunteer priests, or older initiates. Lorinda usually leaves these other temples alone to manage themselves. But she tries to visit them at least once each year.
Elevation to Sword requires a sponsor from the temple to present the petitioner once they have completed all the requirements. Successful elevation to Sword gives the petitioner all benefits including an allied spirit in the form of a sword.
Combat Lore Skill:
A lore skill that can generally only be improved by training. The GM can retain the right to bestow a "check mark" in the skill for exceptional use of the skill.
When used the skill allows the character to know about military strategy and to know the opponent's strategy. When the skill roll is a success then the player will intuitively know the opponent's strategy. When the success roll is failed then the player cannot guess the opponent's strategy. If the opponent has a strategy skill and both make their roles, then the one who made their role by the biggest margin wins the battle of strategic minds by the amount of the difference. DM should give that side a bonus based on circumstances.
Base for this skill is (05) since everyone has a little bit of this. A successful combat lore role will not always guarantee full knowledge of an opponents strategy. If the opponent is a raving lunatic, all bets are off. Fumbling a lore role will probably result in being completely unprepared for the coming strategy (but thinking you are prepared).
Combat lore will also give a person a chance to evaluate how an unfamiliar weapon will be used against you and how to best defend against it.
